Not a book to read during quiet time. This book had a ton of witty dialogue that will leave you laughing out loud. Vlad as always has his clever remarks and skillfully delivered. Don’t forget the moments that pull at your emotional heart strings, as well as, you tear ducts. Although it seems a little slow in some spots, over all it was a blast to read. The storyline was interesting, character progression was good, and the dialogue was great. You can expect elements that are a little new to this book that was not in the previous books. I would have like to see Ian with more lines in the book. The one he did say was pretty intense. Another thing, it was a little over worked was the declaring of cat and bones love for each other. While its great to hear the main characters love each other I think it should be done in moderation. The realistic sex scenes can have you blushing. In the end you’ll be left wondering what happens next. What happened with a certain persons new form? Is there a New enemy to be added to the mix?? Can’t wait to get some more of Vlad’s Hotness.

My Rating: FIVE STARS!!!

The Book Description:
Danger waits on both sides of the grave.

Half-vampire Cat Crawfield and her vampire husband Bones have fought for their lives, as well as for their relationship. But just when they've triumphed over the latest battle, Cat's new and unexpected abilities threaten to upset a long-standing balance . . .

With the mysterious disappearance of vampires, rumors abound that a species war is brewing. A zealot is inciting tensions between the vampires and ghouls, and if these two powerful groups clash, innocent mortals could become collateral damage. Now Cat and Bones are forced to seek help from a dangerous "ally"—the ghoul queen of New Orleans herself. But the price of her assistance may prove more treacherous than even the threat of a supernatural war . . . to say nothing of the repercussions Cat never imagined.

Great review, and I still need to finish reading the other books in the series. Love Cat and Bones
