There are some things in life you have to try before you know how they will affect you.
After 5 years of awful sex, I was ready. Bondage and spanking had always featured in my fantasies, and one day, I convinced my husband to try them. This was a turning point.
Ice cream comes in many flavors and that’s us too -- not vanilla, maybe not Rocky Road either. We can be a combination or make up our own and no one has the right to judge us. But there will always be one question that tears at my soul: Will my husband, Nick, ever be happy with what I crave?

Key of Solomon (Relic Defender #1) by Cassiel Knight
Key of Solomon (Relic Defender #1)
by Cassiel Knight
Trust no one…except the one who walks in the dark.
Relic Defender, Book 1
Anthropology PhD candidate Lexi Harrison never bares it all when she belly dances for a strip club crowd. She doesn’t have to—she’s that good. Every performance earns money toward her degree, and restores the sense of power that her painful childhood ripped away.
Something is different about tonight. A man whose silver gaze seems to touch her skin beneath her veils. When a rowdy customer crosses the line, he comes to her rescue with the speed of a falcon—complete with wings.
Mikos Tyomni has never seen anyone dance the raqs sharqi like Lexi. Trust his tormentor, Archangel Michael, to put him in close contact with the cause of his downfall: a mortal woman. Particularly this mortal woman. The Defender. He has only thirty days to win her trust before Hell’s deadliest demons attempt the mother of all prison breaks.
No matter how sexy the messenger is, Lexi’s career plans don’t include some crazy idea that she’s the last line of defense against the forces of evil. Until her university mentor’s murder leaves her holding the key to Hell. And fighting a losing battle against a passion with the unholy power to bring down Heaven…
Warning: This title contains a dark and sexy fallen angel, bad-ass demons, a heroine with kick-assitude tossed together with mythology, archeology and a shape-shifting rock with a fondness for the gangsters of the 1920s.

Nancy Holzner - BloodStone
Boston’s diverse South End is known for its architecture and great restaurants, not its body count. So when mutilated human corpses begin turning up in the area, the entire city takes notice. The killer—dubbed the South End Reaper—uses a curved blade for his grisly work. And even though there’s no real evidence pointing to a paranormal culprit, the deaths are straining the already-tense relations between Boston’s human and inhuman residents.
As the bodies pile up, Vicky, her formidable aunt Mab, and her werewolf boyfriend Kane investigate, only to find that the creature behind the carnage is after something much more than blood…
Publishers Weekly says, “Fans of Holzner’s other Deadtown novels will enjoy this solid yarn.”

Paranormal YA Aspiring Author Kat Deacon - With Giveaway.
Were Vamps Romance is going to do a little something different. We are having a guest post from a aspiring author. Now for the Guest Post...
You’re probably wandering who I am. I wonder that sometimes myself. I’m Kat Deacon and I am a writer. No, wait…seriously I am. I don’t have anything in print or for sale yet, but one day I will. I’ve been living inside my head with countless characters and stories for as long as I can remember. Growing up with a love of books, I lost myself in adventures and fantasy. I learned that a really good book will make you lose yourself between its pages. If the story is compelling enough, it will run through your mind like a movie. When you’re not reading it, you will crave to be devouring its pages like a hunger that can only be sated with knowing the ending.
If you’re a book lover, then you know exactly the feeling I’m describing. It’s exciting to find a book capable of eliciting such exhilarating and powerful feelings. These feelings are what attracted me to writing in the first place. Who wouldn’t want to create something so powerful… you could escape into another world? The really good writers do this with such ease and skill…you hardly noticed when you’ve left your living room and stepped into their alternate reality.
